Model-Based Design Engineer Training
(Hands-on workshop training using industry-standard tools with Simulink)
Overview:
Model-Based Design (MBD) is becoming an industry trend in the automotive sector when developing software, as it is more robust and efficient than writing āCā code. Due to its End to End traceability and ease of testing and validation across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), MBD has created a method of portable rapid prototyping. Join BRIGHTSharks Engineering for a hands-on practice using industry-standard tools with Simulink for a greater understanding of developing software through model-based design.
The workshop is conducted in a hands-on format focused on various Model-Based practices in the industry so that the transition from training to the workplace is seamless.
Learning Objectives:
- Understanding Model-Based Design concepts and building a project.
- Developing a Manual/Cruise Accelerator Control system (ETCM) Model to the Industry requirements.
- Modelling PI and PID controllers needed for the ETCM system.
- Modelling a Potentiometer Position Sensor
- Understanding CAN/J1939 Communication between two different ECU from Modelling Environment.
- Simulation testing (Model-in-the-loop) for the developed models
- Code generation for the ETCM system
- Training flow: Requirements management / Systems Engineering / Algorithm Design / Control logic development / Testing and Validation.
Duration: 8 Weeks ā Weekday evenings and Weekends (Working or Non-Working Professionals)
Target Audience ā Students/Working professionals with Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial, or Automation Engineering degrees.
