Job Duties:
- Analyze system level requirements/specifications and define high level testing strategy and testing requirements for the
validation of the system and sub systems.
- Based on testing requirements, develop detailed test specifications.
- Utilize test specifications to develop plant models in and implement in tool chain to validate the ecu. Manage and organize high level
test requirements/specifications. Cascade test specifications from system to individual component level.
- Develop test plans and design tests to all specifications including component level, sub system level and system level.
- Document detailed test plans, test designs, analysis, computer modeling test scripts and specifications in an organized and traceable manner.
- Design develop and problem resolution of new and existing HiL models, test scripts and components. Conduct research to identify new tools, best
practices and alternative approaches to optimal hardware development and testing.
- Consult with hardware team, software team to ensure test plans developed meets the intended requirements/specifications.
- Drive the development and testing to improve quality, efficiency and reduce cost. Analyze test results, test measurements,
and write reports to review with product development teams.
- Manage validation schedules and organize HiL benches (test resources) based on program timelines and project deliverables.
- Supports and adheres to policies, procedures and operational guidelines related to established quality management system.
- Comply with safety policies and procedures to ensure duties of self are performed in a safe manner. Travel and/or relocation to
various unanticipated locations throughout the US required.
- Work with the following tools and technologies: MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, Control Desk, Model Desk, Motion Desk, CANalyzer,
CANape, GIT, MiL/HiL Testing.
Special Skills:
Position requires a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Related Field and
twelve (12) months of experience. One (1) year of experience must have included: MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, Control Desk,
Model Desk, Motion Desk, CANalyzer, CANape, GIT, MiL/HiL Testing. Travel and/or relocation to various
unanticipated locations throughout the US required.
